Look At Us Now: New Trier’s Lagniappe Potpourri Takes Stage

Winnetka, Ill. – The New Trier Performing Arts Division presents its original variety show, Lagniappe-Potpourri: Look At Us Now, on Tuesday, Sept. 21 and Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m. at the Winnetka Campus Gaffney Auditorium. The annual show features student-created scenes, songs and dances as well as student-designed sets, sound, lights, props and costumes. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.showclix.com/event/lagniappe-potpourri-look-at-us-now for $12, and will be sold for every other seat to allow for safe distancing in the auditorium.

“The student energy and creativity are the driving force of this production,” Head Sponsor and New Trier Theatre Teacher Nina Lynn said. “The student leaders have worked so well together to make sure we can return to the Gaffney Auditorium for a live performance.”

“We are so grateful and fortunate to be leading an amazing community, which we have been able to work with fully in-person this year,” Student Co-Producers Ethan Hoffman and Elizabeth Payne said.
