Medical Giant Picks Northfield Over Lincolnshire
Medline Industries will relocate to the space most recently occupied by Kraft Heinz.
Officials with Mundelein-based Medline Industries confirmed Thursday they will move headquarters to the former central offices of Kraft Heinz in Northfield rather than Lincolnshire, which had been planned originally, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The medical giant opted for the larger space in Northfield after Kraft Heinz announced they were condensing business to a space in downtown Chicago.
“It’s potentially very disappointing to us,” Lincolnshire Mayor Liz Brandt said of Medline, which owns two , three-story buildings in Lincolnshire in which they had been in talks with village officials about relocating.
