Reservations are going fast at many of the establishments listed below, so make sure to act fast and check ahead.

Allgauer's on the Riverfront, 2855 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Northbrook
The regular Sunday all-you-can-eat brunch menu runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes bottomless champagne and mimosas. ($42 per adult, $20 for kids aged 4 to 12.)

Blind Faith Cafe, 525 Dempster St. in Evanston
Brunch served from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m.

Combine art, wine and the whole family at this creative event from 9 to 11 a.m. They'll supply the O.J., you supply the mom. ($30 per seat, BYOB, children under 18 must be accompanied by guardian. The Evanston studio is also hosting a Mom's Night Out Painting Party Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. and a Mom's Date Night Painting Party Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. – at $35 each – as well as a Pre-Mother's Day Art Party Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and a Mother and Child Art Party on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. for $25.)

Cafe Aroma, 749 Elm St. in Winnetka
A Mother's Day menu, including drink and dessert specials, will be available all weekend from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Celtic Knot Public House, 626 Church St. in Evanston

A special Mother's Day brunch buffet runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with specialty martinis for $8 and Bloody Marys and mimosas for $5 (buffet $25 for adults, $11 for kids aged 3 to 12)

All moms who dine in on Mother's Day receive a free grapefruit mimosa.

Lunch is available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with dinner until 9 p.m. at Chef-Partner Mychael Bonner's steak and seafood spot.

Disotto, 310 Green Bay Road in Highwood
Regular menu items and specialty dishes will be available for Mother's Day. Brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with dinner from 4 to 8 p.m.

Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St. in Evanston
The 43rd annual Mother's Day House Walk will feature six historic and architecturally significant houses open from noon to 5 p.m. (Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 on Sunday. Tickets can be picked up at 11 a.m. EHC members get a $5 discount and children under 12 are free.)

Farmhouse Evanston, 703 Church St. in Evanston
A Mother's Day buffet runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bunch items will be available until 2 p.m. ($38 for adults, $16 for kids under age 11.) Dinner items will be available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. ($52 for adults and $18 for kids.) The a la carte dinner menu will be available after 5:30 p.m.

Northwestern University Baseball at Miller Park, 2750 Ashland Ave. in Evanston
Moms eat for free at a pregame brunch. Family members can buy a plate to join in. Then after the game, moms are invited to come down to the field to play catch. The Wildcats host Iowa at 2 p.m. ($7 for adults, $5 for youth.)

Renaissance Chicago North Shore, 933 Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook
There will be multiple stations attended by chefs, with omelettes, fresh seafood, ham, beef and pasta. A kid-friendly buffet will also available, and reservations are required. ($45 for adults, $20 for kids aged 5 to 12 and free for children under 5.)

A prix fixe lunch and dinner menu is be available all weekend, with a la cart lunch not available on Mother's Day.
