New Trier Finance Committee Recommends Bonds in Early 2015
The school will issue $89 million in general obligation bonds as part of Winnetka campus renovation.

New Trier High School plans to issue $89 million in general obligation bonds early next year, the Glencoe News reported. New Trier’s finance committee recently recommended issuing the bonds all at once.
The bonds will go toward the planned renovation at the Winnetka campus, which include calls for an east-west access road and a student plaza.
The News received a district memo, which indicated bonds issued in January often benefit from the “January effect,” which is a time of strong demand for municipal bond investments.
