New Trier High School Calendar For 2019-20: First Day, More

WINNETKA, IL — The first day of classes at New Trier High School is Aug. 26 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The board of New Trier Township High School District has approved the full 2019-20 calendar, which is available online to download in printable form.

The calendar includes important dates, such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here's a look at some of the most important dates parents and students should mark down immediately:

August

Aug. 22-23: No School — Institute Days
Aug. 26: First Day of School — All Students

September

Sept. 2: No School — Labor Day
Sept. 13: Early Dismissal (Noon from Northfield and 12:20 p.m. from Winnetka)
Sept. 16: Late Arrival (10:15 a.m. to Northfield and 10:35 a.m. to Winnetka)
Sept. 30: No School — Rosh Hashanah

October

Oct. 3: Freshman Go-To-School Night, Northfield Campus
Oct. 9: No School — Yom Kippur
Oct. 10-11: No School — Fall Break
Oct. 25: Early Dismissal
Oct. 28: Late Arrival

November

Nov. 1: First Quarter Ends
