New Trier Officials Present Renovation Plan to Winnetka Village Council

New Trier High School officials presented the proposed renovation of the school’s Winnetka campus to the Winnetka Village Council on Aug. 19, Winnetka Talk reports.

The plan proposes demolishing the 1912 cafeteria, the 1931 tech arts building and the 1950 music building, and replacing them all with one new building, according to Winnetka Talk.

The Council seemed pleased. According to Winnetka Talk, Trustee Bill Krucks said he was “very favorably impressed with the plan,” which residents will vote on in November.
