In this beautifully dramatized adaptation of the classic novel, even as privation, illness, and sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl strives to find her true self.

Making his New Trier debut as director, theatre teacher Tommy Malouf brings Louisa May Alcott’s beloved characters to life in a new way, fusing live music performance with the storytelling.

“Everyone has worked extremely hard on this production. There was such an array of talent and abilities among the cast members, I had to incorporate them into the show,” Malouf said. “It is great to be working in a community that so highly values arts education, and it is a thrill for me as a director to be able to work with such gifted individuals.”
