New Trier Wins National Debate Tournament
New Trier wins Ohio Valley Invitational, a tournament including 68 teams from around the nation.
WINNETKA, IL - New Trier High School won a recent national debate tournament that included 68 teams competing at the University of Kentucky.
The Trevians' Connor Warshauer and Celia Buckman won 10 straight debates at the Ohio Valley Invitational. Warshauer also won the top individual speaker trophy while Buckman earned third place in a field of 136 debaters.
