North Shore Country Day School Names Next Head of School
Thomas J. Flemma will begin in the new role in July.

North Shore Country Day School has tabbed an administrator at a Connecticut school to replace the retiring Tom Doar III as head of school beginning next year.
Thomas J. Flemma will begin in the new role on July 1, 2016. His appointment was made unanimously by the NSCDS board of trustees.
“I am truly honored to be chosen to lead North Shore Country Day into its second century,” said Flemma, currently the Associate Head of School and Dean of Faculty at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. “From my very first engagement with the School I was impressed by North Shore’s powerful combination of academic rigor and community spirit. Everyone I met during the interview process and campus visit was thoughtful, engaging and deeply invested in the care of kids.”
