Nothing says summertime like farm fresh roasted corn. Enjoy a bounty of nature’s best at the Northfield Farmers’ Market Corn Roast on Saturday, August 22. Sunset Foods provides the corn and the roaster, the event is sponsored by The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce. The Farmers’ Market hours are from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm and the Corn Roast starts at 9 am.
The Northfield Farmers’ Market is located at 6 Happ Road, Northfield. There is plenty of parking in the New Trier High School Northfield campus lot.
The proceeds from the Corn Roast will benefit the Northfield Township Food Pantry. All are invited to the Corn Roast, purchase freshly roasted corn, eat it right on the spot or take home it home and enjoy it later.
