Oh What Fun: Chalet Welcomes Holidays with Events and Activities
See Santa and his reindeer, shop for that perfect tree, take the kids for some holiday fun
On the eve of its 100th anniversary in 2017, Chalet Landscape, Nursery and Garden Center in Wilmette is making spirits bright this holiday season with fun events for the whole family:
Family Holiday Celebration
Nov. 26 and 27, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bring the family for some fun at Chalet. Among other activities, kids and their families can listen to an author reading of the book, “Oliver the Ornament”, which shows how to spread the kindness of the season.

Reindeer Visit
From Nov. 21 through Dec. 18, during store hours
The North Shore meets the North Pole! Say hello to some reindeer friends during their annual holiday visit to Chalet.
Winter Seasonal Planter Workshops
Nov. 29 and 30, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dec. 2, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Chalet’s Jennifer Brennan will show how to make a stunning container using spruce tops, mixed evergreens, redtwig dogwood, pinecones and berries.
