Over $4,500 Stolen From Cars On Fuller Lane: Police Blotter
Over $4,500 in losses were reported after a string of burglaries from unlocked cars on Fuller Lane Thursday night.

WINNETKA, IL — A string of burglaries hit Fuller Lane between Thursday night and Friday morning, police say. Police got five separate calls about burglaries and trespassing in the block. All of the victims had left their cars unlocked.
This is the information obtained from the Winnetka Police Department outlining police activity between July 25 and 29.
Wednesday, July 25

1:05 p.m.: Police responded to the 1100 block of Ash Street on a criminal trespassing call. Between 8:30 p.m. July 24 and 7:30 a.m. July 25, somebody went into an unlocked car and "rummaged" through. No loss was reported.
4:39 p.m.: Police responded to the 1000 block of Pine Street where a victim reported that between midnight and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, somebody opened a package delivered to the residence and stole its contents. Loss was reported at $235.

Friday, July 27
7:10 a.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of Fuller Lane on a burglary call. The victim said that between 8:30 p.m. July 26 and 3 a.m. July 27, somebody had gone into an unlocked car and stole a purse, which included a wallet and credit card. The card was later used without the victim's permission. Loss was reported at $2,964.84.
8:07 a.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of Fuller Lane on a criminal trespassing call. The victim said between 5 p.m. July 26 and 11 a.m. July 27, somebody had gone into two unlocked cars in the driveway and went through its contents. No loss was reported.
12:55 p.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of Fuller Lane on a burglary call. The victim said that between 5 p.m. July 26 and 11 a.m. July 27, somebody went into an unlocked car and stole a gym bag, sunglasses and clothes. Loss was reported at $1,250.
2:19 p.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of Fuller Lane on a burglary call. The victim said between 11:15 p.m. July 26 and 7 a.m. July 27, somebody went into an unlocked car in the driveway and stole a cosmetic bag. Loss was reported at $100.
Saturday, July 28
7:52 p.m.: Police responded to the 300 block of Green Bay Road in Glencoe on a call about a dispute. While there, police arrested Christian LaChapelle, 41, whose home they responded to. LaChapelle was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and on a separate active warrant.
Sunday, July 29
12:17 p.m.: Police responded to the 100 block of Fuller Lane on a criminal trespassing call. The victim said that between 7 a.m. July 20 and 8 a.m. July 27, somebody went into an unlocked car in the driveway and rummaged through. No loss was reported.
