Phone Booth at Glencoe Train Station Restored
The garden phone booth now has a glass placard that reads "Glencoe."

GLENCOE, IL - The garden phone booth at the Glencoe train station has been restored, according to a village memo.
The complete restoration includes fresh paint, new glass placards that read "Glencoe" an a new LED light to keep the booth lit at night.
The project was supported by Glencoe resident Mark Davis.

"The Village is grateful for Mr. Davids involvement and believes that the newly restored and lighted phone booth is a unique landmark and will serve as improved identification marker for commuters arriving at the Glencoe station," the memo read.
