WINNETKA, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Winnetka Police Department and the Glencoe Public Safety Department.

Winnetka

THEFT

  • Identity - May 29 at 12:12 p.m.
    • A resident discovered 516.98 in fraudulent transactions on their VISA Chase credit card.
  • Retail - May 29 at 2:12 p.m.
    • An employee at a storefront in Winnetka reported that an unknown person took merchandise from the store without paying. The value of the stoeln items is unknown.

  • Cannabis delivery - May 26 at 4:06 p.m.
    • A 21-year-old man from Wilmette was arrested for manufacturing, delivering and possessing with intent to deliver more than 30g of cannabis. He was also cited for running a stop sign.
  • Traffic - May 30 at 2:19 a.m.
    • A 19-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol content higher than 0.08.
  • Traffic - May 31 at 2:22 p.m.
    • A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license and running a stop sign.

Glencoe

ARRESTS

  • Traffic - May 28
    • A 21-year-old Chicago man was arrested following a traffic crash. He was cited with speeding 25 mph over the speed limit, running a traffic light, eluding an officer, driving without lights and failure to reduce speed and avoid an accident.
  • Traffic - May 28
    • A 25-year-old Beach Park man was arrested and cited with speeding 21-25 mph over the speed limit and having no valid driver's license.
