Reminder- Township Support Grant Applications Due January 19th
Reminder- New Trier Township Community Support Grant applications for Disabled Individuals are due January 19, 2018.

The following announcement is a reminder for New Trier Township residents:
Community Support Grant funds for individuals with disabilities and their families, can help alleviate the stress and cost associated with specialized in-home care and support systems. Since 2007, New Trier Township has provided support grants to applicants with disabilities that match the following categories:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Developmental and/or Cognitive Delay
- Physical Impairments
- Multiple Impairments
- Mental Health Disorders
Township grant dollars permit individuals or their caregivers to secure in-home therapeutic assistance, equipment, respite care, medical assistance, home/vehicle accessibility modifications or family counseling.

The program is open to all Township residents with an eligible disability, with no restrictions on age or income. Past recipients are eligible and encouraged to reapply. Those interested in applying for fiscal year 2017-18 Community Support Grants must do so from now through Friday, January 19, 2018.
