Winnetka
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
- Property - May 12 at 3:05 p.m.
- A resident discovered that the driver's side window of their car was damaged sometime between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.

- Identity - May 14 at 7:42 a.m.
- A scammer used a resident's personal information to redeem American Airlines miles. The miles were valued at approximately $3,534.
- Identity - May 15 at 4:59 p.m.
- A scammer claiming to be an employee of SoCal Doors instructed a resident to transfer $5,000 via bank wire transfer.
ARRESTS
- Warrant - May 15 at 3:39 p.m.
- Winnetka police assisted in the arrest of a Missouri man who had a warrant for his arrest.
- Traffic - May 16 at 11:29 p.m.
- A 40-year-old Elgin man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol content that exceeded 0.08.
- Traffic - May 17 at 7:58 p.m.
- A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit.

- A 21-year-old Highwood man was arrested following an investigation. He was cited with retail theft, consuming alcohol in public and possession of cannabis.

- A 37-year-old Highland Park man was arrested and cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving on a suspended license.
