Sewer Work Will Create Daily Lane Closings Along Sheridan Road

WINNETKA, IL—Winnetka residents who regularly use Sheridan Road between Scott Street and Tower Road during the day might need to look for different routes during the summer thanks to sewer work being done along that stretch.

Drainage work to reduce road flooding and resurfacing will create temporary lane closures between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting according to an Illinois Department of Transportation press release. Traffic stops also will occasionally occur so work can be done on a storm sewer in that area, the IDOT release stated.

Work began Monday, March 28, and is expected to continue through July.
