WINNETKA, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Winnetka Police Department and the Glencoe Public Safety Department.
Winnetka
FRAUD
- Theft - Sept. 8 at 1:56 p.m.
- A resident told police that somebody claiming to be a representative of CR Peterson, Inc., a sports construction company that specializes in tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, told them to transfer more than $5,000 to an unknown bank account.
Glencoe

- Traffic - Sept. 10
- A 40-year-old Chicago man was arrested and cited for disobeying a traffic control device, driving an uninsured car with a suspended registration and not having a valid driver's license.
