Starbucks in Winnetka Could Begin Beer, Wine Sales This Fall
Chestnut Street location may join thousands of others nationwide if liquor license is approved.

The Starbucks on Chestnut Street in downtown Winnetka is expected to begin selling beer and wine this year.
Village code has been amended to allow for the national chain to acquire a liquor license earlier this month and a board vote on the matter had been scheduled for Tuesday, the Winnetka Talk reports.
If approval of the license is granted, Starbucks could begin the sales nightly at 5 p.m. this fall or winter.
