Criminal charges represent merely accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. INCIDENTS
IDENTITY THEFT
A Forestway Drive resident reported around 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 27 that someone had used their identity in an unsuccessful attempt to buy a car.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD
A Holhfelder Road resident reported that someone used their identity to make more than $200 worth of purchases at a Bloomingdale's in Tennessee.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 21-year-old Chicago man was issued a local ordinance violation citation after police reported he was soliciting without a permit around 2 p.m. on Feb. 27 in the 600 block of Vernon Avenue.

Marco A. Jacome-Ortiz, 33, of the 1600 block of Natoma Avenue, North Chicago, was arrested around 3:45 a.m. on March 1 near the intersection of Dundee Road and Pebblewood Lane and charged with felony driving with a revoked license and controlled substance possession and misdemeanor driving while license revoked. Police reported he had at least three previous convictions for driving with a revoked license. He was also issued citations for illegal transportation of an open container of alcohol by a driver, driving without tail lights, disobeying a stop sign.

INCIDENTS
THREAT
Staff at Medline Industries, 3 Three Lakes Drive, reported around 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 27 that a recently terminated worker had made threatening statements. Officers spoke to the former employee, who explained he had not been serious and did not intend to engage in any sort of threatening activities. Police informed him company officials had banned him from Medline property.
FRAUD
Around 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 28, staff at Medline Industries reported that several fraudulent checks had been issued from a company account. They were able to put a stop on the checks, so no financial loss was reported.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 19-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 26 near the intersection of Willow and Sunset Ridge roads and charged with driving without a valid license. He was also issued citations for underage possession of cannabis, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding 52 mph in a 30 mph zone.
A 40-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 27 and charged with driving without a valid license near the intersection of Willow Road and Whittier Lane. He was also ticketed for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
WILMETTE
INCIDENTS
DECEPTIVE PRACTICE
A Linden Avenue resident reported being scammed by a caller claiming to be a ComEd employee on Feb. 20. The scammer told the resident his electricity would be shut off if he did not pay $385 using gift cards. The resident realized it was a scam after the first transaction and contacted police a few days later.
CAR BURGLARY
Someone stole a backpack containing electronics from an unlocked vehicle in a grocery store parking lot in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue between 6:10 and 6:20 p.m. on March 4.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
Jason A. Davis, 40, with no listed address, was arrested around 6:30 a.m. on Feb. 25 at the CTA Purple Line station at 349 Linden Avenue and charged with battery. Police reported Davis urinated on the train, refused to disembark and struck a CTA employee in the back.
A 27-year-old Waukegan man was arrested around 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 26 and charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop near the intersection of Wilmette Avenue and Hunter Road.
Desmond M. Jiles, 31, of the 2300 block of Joppa Avenue, Zion, and Amber L. Sanato, 36, of the 2600 block of Bennett Avenue, Evanston, were arrested around 9:15 p.m. on March 1 in the 2000 block of Schiller Avenue as officers investigated the crash of a stolen truck in a nearby alley. Police reported a Ford F-150 that had been reported stolen from North Chicago on Feb. 27 had struck a shrub and become stuck in the mud in the 1900 block of Oxford Lane. A male occupant was seen fleeing the scene, according to police. Jiles and Sanato, who matched the description of the suspects in the truck's theft, were found walking nearby with mud-covered shoes about 5 minutes later, police reported. Jiles was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, a felony. Sanato was charged with criminal trespass to vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Oscar A. Lopez, 26, of the 6600 block of North Damen Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the 3500 block of Lake Avenue after an officer pulled him over for a traffic violation and learned he had a warrant issued after forfeiting bond in connection with a charge of resisting or obstructing Rosemont police.
WINNETKA
INCIDENTS
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A park district employee reported someone did $500 worth of damage to nine outdoor electrical outlets and covers in the Hubbard Woods Park building at 939 Green Bay Road between Feb. 21 and Feb. 24.
ARRESTS/CITATIONS
A 19-year-old Chicago man was arrested around 3 a.m. on Feb. 29 in the 300 block of Prospect Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license and cited for failure to dim his headlights.
A 26-year-old Waukegan woman was arrested around 10 p.m. on Feb. 29 in the 400 block of Sheridan Road and charged with driving with a suspended driver's license. She was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper turning and cannabis possession.
A 22-year-old Wilmette man was arrested around 2:15 a.m. on March 1 in the first block of Green Bay Road and charged with speeding between 26 and 34 mph above the limit.
