Taste on Chestnut Plans to be "Stylish"

The Taste on Chestnut will reopen on January 29 and combine two spaces that previously served as the home of twin businesses Corner Cooks and Jerry’s in downtown Winnetka.

Owner Steve Leviton told Chicago Magazine in a recent interview he is trained in French cuisine and worked with Jovan Trboyevich at the legendary Le Perroquet. At Taste on Chestnut, 507 Chestnut St., he plans “a still-casual but more stylish restaurant than its predecessors.”
