Thanksgiving 2018 North Shore Restaurant Specials

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to gather around the table, but it doesn't necessarily have to involve worrying about recipes, cooking or cleaning up. There are more than a dozen North Shore restaurants planning Thanksgiving specials with seats still still available this week. But spots are filling fast, and reservations are recommended for most of the establishments below.

If you're looking for a great holiday meal out, here's a list of 14 north suburban locations with Thanksgiving specials — or pre-Thanksgiving — specials and reservations still available on Nov. 22, listed in alphabetical order. Bobby's, 695 Deerfield Road, Deerfield
"'Thanksgiving is a time of togetherness and gratitude.' –Nigel Hamilton. Let us do all the cooking and join us for a 3-course homestyle dinner, including sweet potato fennel soup, roasted Harrison's Poultry turkey, sweet apple and sage corn bread stuffing, home made gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie."

Buca di Beppo, 604 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling
"Buca di Beppo is open on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23. Book your table to enjoy a relaxing traditional Thanksgiving meal, or order from regular menu featuring our authentic Italian cuisine. Parties of all sizes are welcome!" (Or order a Thankgiving dinner to go for three or five.)

Chef's Station, 915 Davis St., Evanston
Executive Chef Elio Romero has prepared a three-course meal available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for $50 per person for your choice of appetizer, entree (including two preparations of turkey as well as fish and vegetarian options) and dessert.

Convito Cafe and Market, 1515 Sheridan Road, Wilmette
"Celebrate with us the day before Thanksgiving. We'll be serving specials like: roasted butternut squash soup, lemon butter whitefish, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, free range roasted turkey breast, pumpkin creme brûlée and more. We're closed on Thursday Nov. 22"

Farmhouse, 703 Church St., Evanston
Farmhouse will be serving a la carte breakfast from 7-10 a.m. and a holiday buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Prices are $19 for kids 10 and under, $42 for adults .

Fleming's Steakhouse, 960 Milwaukee Ave., Lincolnshire
"Join us as we make memories - and a delicious three-course meal - from scratch. Our Thanksgiving menu features favorites like Lobster Bisque, Mixed Herb-Roasted Turkey Breast, family-style sides and sweet seasonal desserts like Apple Crisp. For steak lovers, our main dining menu will be available."

Francesca's North, 1145 Church St., Northbrook
"Gather your friends and family and join us on Thanksgiving Day! We will serve traditional Thanksgiving dishes alongside our full dinner menu."

Granite City Food & Brewery, 992 Willow Road, Northbrook
A traditional family-style meal will be offered from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with "an array of Thanksgiving classics made from scratch by our talented team of Chefs, and don't be afraid to ask for seconds!" Prices are $10 for kids and $30 for adults.

Lake House, 525 Rockland Road, Lake Bluff
Lake House will serve a Thanksgiving buffet for $13 for kids 10 and under and $22 for adults.

Morton's The Steakhouse, 699 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook
"For a limited time only, join us for Côte de Boeuf and/or Steak & Lobster Oscar. Offer varies by location. Open at 1 p.m."

Roka Akor, Old Orchard Shopping Center, Skokie
"Roka Akor Old Orchard has created a prefix Thanksgiving menu comprised of signature and Thanksgiving influenced Roka Akor classics priced at $54 per person. A limited a la carte menu will also be available."

Scotty's on Sheridan, 810 Sheridan Road, Highwood
A special Thanksgiving menu from Chef Marcos Rea will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. "Choose from: Traditional Turkey Dinner, Salmon, Sea Bass, Gnocchi nBolognese, Filet Mignon, or Chicken Milanese. Includes choice of soup or salad, plus choice of dessert. Children's Menu + Gluten Free & Vegetarian options available."

Terra & Vine, 1701 Maple Ave., Evanston
"We are serving a special 3 course Thanksgiving Menu for $49 (children's menu $18). Please note our regular menu will not be available. "

Wildfire, 1300 Patriot Blvd., Glenview
"Bring your family & friends to Wildfire and let us do the cooking this Thanksgiving. We will be open from 11:00 am-8:00 pm serving a Thanksgiving Menu served family style, featuring Spit Roasted Turkey and all of the other traditional Thanksgiving dishes to accompany. Regular menu not available."
