Trustee Questions Community Survey

Winnetka officials are defending a $30,000 community survey after one trustee questioned its use.

The Winnetka Talk reports Richard Kates recently said that “though he was among the trustees who voted unanimously to approve the survey’s launch last year, he is now skeptical of its methodology and usefulness.” Kates, in addition to questioning the cost, referred to the fact that two copies of the survey were sent to each household but residents were told to only complete one.
