Two Solo Exhibitions: Melissa Jay Craig and Lisa A. Frank at ZIA Gallery in Winnetka

Melissa Jay Craig is a renowned handmade paper and book artist whose inventive work commands attention around the country and the world. Blogs, covering her unique art form, have gone viral, resulting in enthusiastic responses from viewers in numerous countries and languages. The artist has an extensive exhibition record and awards including multiple artist fellowship residencies, one of which is the 2014 Prairie Fellow award from the Ragdale Foundation. Her work is in public and private collections across the United States and abroad.

Digital photographer Lisa A. Frank is the recipient of a MacDowell Colony Artist Residency 2014 fellowship and was a senior research fellow of the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology in 2012-13. Her remarkable work is composed of many photographs she takes, often during walks in nature.

This stunning duo exhibition runs through June 6th, 2015 at ZIA Gallery, 548 Chestnut St., Winnetka, IL, 60093. Current hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 10 - 5pm and Thursdays until 7pm.
