Village Of Winnetka: Please Walk Bikes In Business Districts

In order to make our business districts safer for everyone, the Village has partnered with School District 36 to ask bicycle riders to walk their bikes on sidewalks in the business districts. The Village posted signs along Elm Street, Chestnut Street, and Lincoln Avenue asking riders for compliance. Please communicate to bicycle riders in your household to use caution while biking and walk bikes in the business districts and in other crowded areas.
