PEER Services is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. PEER Services provides community-based substance use prevention and treatment services to teens, adults and families in Northern Cook County, including Evanston, Maine, New Trier, Niles and Northfield Townships, and the north side of Chicago. PEER Services reduces the harms of substance use, addiction and stigma by engaging youth and adults with innovative prevention programming and by supporting people on their path to recovery through holistic, evidence-based treatment. We provide affirming services to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay. Part of this maintenance includes the periodic repainting of the poles. Poles are sanded and painted approximately every five years to enhance their appearance and improve their reliability.  Starting July 22 , approximately 75 streetlight poles and 40 traffic signal poles will be painted at various locations in the Village, including: <ul> <li>On Tower Road from Gordon Terrace to Grove Street</li> <li>On Sheridan Road from Tower Road to Scott Avenue</li> <li>Poles along Green Bay Road throughout the Village</li> </ul> Muscat Painting and Decorating has been hired to perform the pole painting.  For further information, please contact the Water &amp; Electric Department's non-emergency number at 847-716-3558.<hr />This press release was produced by <a href="villageofwinnetka.org" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the Village of Winnetka</a>.
