Village Of Winnetka: Winnetka Landmark Preservation Commission Preservation Award Nominations Accepted

The Village of Winnetka Landmark Preservation Commission is now accepting nominations for its annual Preservation Awards program. The award seeks to honor exterior construction projects in the Village that have helped preserve the history and character of the community. Nominate your home, your neighbor’s house, or a Winnetka structure that inspires you. Award categories include Restoration, Rehabilitation, and New Construction for projects that have been completed during the last five years. Single-family residential, commercial/multi-family residential, and public/institutional properties are eligible. Nomination forms are available for download (PDF) or at Village Hall.

Nominations for this year’s program are due by May 28, 2021. Award winners will be announced at a Village Council meeting later this year. Entries, inquiries, or questions can be sent to Christopher Marx, Associate Planner at the Village.
