Volunteers needed at North Shore Senior Center!

North Shore Senior Center's House of Welcome Adult Day Services is looking for volunteers who are interested in working with people living with Alzheimer’s disease or memory loss from other dementias.

You can help in many different ways:

Most volunteers help with our everyday activities like music, baking, exercise, art, dance, discussions, word games, etc. Other volunteers bring their therapy pet to visit, or share a special talent.

We ask volunteers to commit to a morning or afternoon shift every week. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, either from 8:30 or 9:00am until 12:30pm or from 12:30pm until 4:00pm.

No previous experience is required. You can start by observing and we'll provide training. Please let us know if you have special talents or interests - we are always open to new ideas for activities.
