A variety of restaurants in Chicago's northern suburbs offer a selection of specials for this weekend's Easter holiday. Some of the eateries offering special Easter brunch options are listed below. The Barn, a meat-centric hideaway housed in a 19th century brick barn hidden away down an alley in Evanston, offers a special three-course brunch this Easter Sunday. Chef Nicole Pederson’s decadent à la carte brunch at the restaurant – which just opened November 1 – offers a plethora of options such as Soup de Poisson ($9.95); Little Gem Salad and Creamy Dijon Salad ($11.95); The Grand Central Caviar Sandwich ($18.95); a choice of Prime Heritage Angus steaks, such as the 14 oz. Bone-In New York ($46.95); Za’Atar Roasted Half Chicken ($22.95); and more.

An endless spread of Easter favorites are on offer at Pinstripes this year as part of its grand brunch buffet. Plus, the Easter bunny will be joining for photo opportunities. There will be an egg hunt at the venue that begins at 9:30 a.m. Easter baskets are $5 each. They include a special treat and proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Reservations are still available for Easter brunch between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at this classy American bistro. Featuring staples such as bagels and lox, oatmeal buttermilk pancakes, and eggs benedict Guildhall style, to the more innovative chorizo and hominy hash and chilaquiles and housemade doughnuts, a la carte menu has some special East additions. Celebrate a delicious Easter Sunday with family and friends at Prairie Grass Cafe. Easter Brunch will be served buffet style from 10 am to 2 pm April 16. The price is $49.50 for adults and $18 for children 10 and under. Reservations are strongly recommended.
