Wilmette Schools to Get Millions Worth of Improvements This Summer
Construction projects planned at Romona, Central and Highcrest.

About $4.14 million is being put into summer construction projects at three Wilmette School District 39 schools, the Wilmette Life reports.
Among the improvements scheduled to begin once school ends this year is the replacement of obsolete boilers and four new early childhood classrooms at Romona Elementary School, the creation of the district’s first learning commons at Central Elementary School and an upgrade of the roofs and parking lot space at Highcrest Middle School.
