Winnetka Caucus Sets Spring Town Meeting for May 18

Residents can fill out a survey at the caucus' website to ask civic leaders questions in advance of the meeting.

The Winnetka Caucus will hold its Spring Town Meeting on Wednesday, May 18th, in the Little Theatre at Carleton Washburne School, 515 Hibbard Road, beginning at 7:30 pm. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for members of the Winnetka community to learn about key issues facing the Village and to ask questions of its leaders. Speakers and roundtable participants are scheduled to include:

  • Gene Greable, President of the Village Board of Trustees
  • Brad McLane, President of the Park District Board
  • Kendra Wallace, President of the District 36 School Board
  • Laurie Petersen, President of the Winnetka-Northfield Library Board
  • Terry Dason, Executive Director of the Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce

Residents wishing to pose questions to any of these leaders can do so by filling out the survey form on the Caucus website: www.winnetkacaucus.org.

The Winnetka Caucus, founded in 1915, consists of all voting-age residents of Winnetka. The work of the Caucus is carried out by the non-partisan Caucus Council, the community’s liaison to the four Boards that comprise Winnetka’s Government – Village Council, Parks, Schools and Library.
