Winnetka Man Pleads Guilty to Hiding Video Camera in Ex-Girlfriend's Palatine Home

PALATINE, IL — A Winnetka man accused of hiding a small video camera in an ex-girlfriend's Palatine home pleaded guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors Thursday, the Daily Herald reports.
Steven Kocour, 55, was sentenced to 30 months of probation and must complete 100 hours of community service, the report stated. He also must pay $654 in fines, the report added.
Kocour was arrested in January of 2016 after a Palatine woman he had dated reported to police that she had found a minature video recorder hidden in her bedroom dresser. He was originally charged with felony unauthorized video recording and live video transmission.
