Winnetka Obituary: Christopher Joseph McQuillen, 21
A visitation is planned for Thursday in Skokie.

The following obituary is courtesy of Donnellan Family Funeral Services.
Christopher Joseph McQuillen, age 21 of Winnetka. Beloved son of Joseph and Sally Stearns McQuillen; loving brother of Caroline and William McQuillen; dear grandson of Mary and Bud Kuppenheimer; fond nephew and cousin to many.
Chris was a rare soul. He was a very sensitive, outgoing and down-to-earth young man with an extremely caring heart. His lack of pretense, natural magnetism, love of life and adventure were contagious. Chris believed in family and embodied true character. His deep sense of loyalty to friends created loving and unbreakable bonds. Chris was a champion of the under-dog. His true compassion for others drove him to remarkable efforts to help those in need, volunteer with those with disabilities and mentor many. We will miss him forever but know that his spirit lives on.
