Winnetka Police Seeking Owner Of Stolen Items

Police released images of several items recovered during an investigation into a motor vehicle theft.

WINNETKA, IL — Police are asking for help from the public to identify the owners of several pieces of property. The Winnetka Police Department released images Tuesday of four items they said were found during an investigation into the theft of a motor vehicle.

Two unlocked vehicles with the keys inside were reported stolen from the 600 block of Green Bay Road shortly after 2:30 a.m. on June 16, according to police reports of the incident.

Both vehicles were soon located in the area, police said at the time. But nearly a month later, Winnetka police are still looking to find the owners of some property recovered from the incident.
