Winnetka Restaurant Makes 'The Hot List'

Taste on Chestnut is No. 10 on Chicago Magazine’s ‘The Hot List’ - a list of 10 Chicago-area restaurants to try in April “in order of heat.”

The fairly new Winnetka eatery at 507 Chestnut Street was the only place listed outside of the city of Chicago.

According to the restaurant’s website, it “offers a variety of seasonal foods. Customers have the opportunity to watch Chef (Steven) Leviton at work around the kitchen.”

Topping this month’s Chicago Magazine list is Formento’s, located at 925 W. Randolph Street.
