Winnetka Schools Moving Forward with PARCC

Informational sessions held on implementing the new exam.

Winnetka School District 36 will implement the PARCC exam this spring despite a letter from Superintendent Trisha Kocanda sent to the community earlier this week outlying several concerns over the test mandated by the state.

The Daily North Shore reports the district had informational sessions at all five of its schools on Thursday regarding the controversial test, which is only administered in eight states despite 26 being a part of an educational consortium that provided the test just four years ago.
