Winnetka's Peter McNitt & BMO Harris Bank Honored At The Y. So Much More™ Recognition Dinner, October 27, 2016

YMCA of Metro Chicago pays tribute to BMO Harris Bank for exceptional commitment to Chicago and suburban children, families and communities.

More than 400 YMCA of Metro Chicago supporters, donors and friends will gather to honor Winnetka resident Peter B. McNitt, Vice Chair of BMO Harris Bank, during The Y. So Much More™ Recognition Dinner, Thursday, October 27, 2016. The 6 p.m. reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, 120 East Delaware Place, will be followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

Mr. McNitt, who also serves as Chairman of the YMCA of Metro Chicago’s Board of Managers, will be accepting the Y's "So Much More Than a Partner Award" on behalf of the bank for its shared values, passion and commitment to strengthening children, families and communities.

For over 30 years, BMO Harris has been one of the Y’s most influential partners, showing exceptional support in a wide variety of ways, including a recent gift in support of the design and programming for the Y’s innovative new Learning Institute in the West Loop.

The award will be presented by David Hiller, who will represent last year’s recipient, the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.

The YMCA of Metro Chicago’s Third Annual Dinner is co-chaired by John P. Amboian, A. Steven Crown, Vincent W. Foglia, J. Christopher Reyes, M. Jude Reyes, Samuel K. Skinner and all members of the Board of Managers of the YMCA of Metro Chicago.

Hosted by WMAQ-TV’s LeeAnn Trotter, The Y So Much More™ Recognition Dinner celebrates its role in strengthening children, individuals and families – highlighting the key partners, leaders and programs that support the Y’s mission. The Y’s 2015 event raised more than $1 million.

The YMCA of Metro Chicago’s 2016 The Y. So Much More Recognition Dinner highlights the programs supporting the Y’s mission – to develop strong children, families and healthy communities across Metropolitan Chicago through academic readiness, character development, violence prevention, and fitness and healthy living. The event helps raise funds to strengthen the Y’s ability to meet the changing needs of 200,000 members annually at 22 city and suburban centers, five resident camps and dozens of extension sites.
