Children ages 6 ½ - 11 years can learn about the latest in equipment and gear for camping in the cold with the expertise of LL Bean. Take the mystery out of enjoying a cold weather camping trip! Topics include temperature ranges, layering, mummy sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and tents. Workshop will be held on Thursday, December 12 from 4:30-5:0 pm at the Community Room, 540 Hibbard Road. Fee is $10 with advanced registration required through the Winnetka Park District, 540 Hibbard Road or online at www.winpark.org using activity number 441521.
