Writers Theatre Now Open in Glencoe
Nationally known theater company now has permanent home on the North Shore.

GLENCOE, IL - The new Writers Theatre officially opened in Glencoe on Friday, the culmination of a multi-year project of the Woman’s Library Club and Village of Glencoe.
The new 36,000 square-foot building at 325 Tudor Court was designed by architect Jeanne Gang, founder and principal for the Chicago-based Studio Gang. Friday marked the end of the project funded completely through private donations.
According to the village, the project is “a case study for the positive impacts of community collaboration.”
