NEW TRIER TOWNSHIP, IL — The following information comes from the Glencoe, Northfield and Winnetka police departments and court records as a record of police activity and incidents reported to the police. Criminal charges merely represent accusations by the state, and county prosecutors often choose to drop or reduce them. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Anyone arrested is innocent unless later proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

INCIDENTS
THEFT
A resident in the 400 block of Oakdale Avenue reported on April 21 that they had wired nearly $80,000 to a person they believed to be their general contractor.
ARRESTS
A 22-year-old Chicago man was arrested on April 15 and charged with driving without a valid license and cited for illegal stopping following a traffic stop near the intersection of Dundee and Hohfelder roads.

A 26-year-old Chicago woman was arrested on April 16 and charged with driving without a valid license and cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop near the intersection of County Line Road and Insignia Court.

VANDALISM
A Winnetka Park District employee discovered on the morning of April 26 that someone had spray-painted the grounds of a parking lot at Maple Street Park for a loss of about $250.

BIKE THEFTS
- Someone stole an unlocked bicycle valued at $500 from the Winnetka Community House, 520 Lincoln Ave., between 4 and 8 p.m. on April 16.
- Someone stole a bicycle and a helmet from an unlocked garage in the 900 block of Elm Street between midnight April 17 and 8 a.m. April 23 for a loss of $550.
- Someone stole an unlocked bicycle worth $500 from the area of Chestnut and Oak streets between 5:30 p.m. on April 27 and 7 a.m. on April 28.
IDENTITY THEFTS
- A White Oak Lane resident reported on April 17 that someone had used their identity to make more than $1,300 worth of unauthorized transactions using their credit card.
- A Westmoor Road resident reported that someone had intercepted, altered and cashed thousands of dollars worth of checks between Jan. 19 and April 18.
- A Higginson Lane resident reported that someone had intercepted, altered and cashed a check in the mail for a loss of $4,900.
ARRESTS
Eriberto Hernandez Santiaguillo, 36, of the 1000 block of 10th Street in Northfield, was arrested around 2:45 a.m. near the intersection of Forestway Drive and Tower Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater.
Phillippe G. Holland, 43, of the 1200 block of Fairfield Road, Glencoe, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. on April 19 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater following a traffic stop near the intersection of Green Bay Road and Spruce Street.
Blake S. Anderson, 18, of the 300 block of Churchill Street, Northfield, was arrested around 3 a.m. on April 20 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an encounter with police in the 900 block of Westmoor Road. He was also ticketed for improper lane usage, disregarding a stop sign and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
Georgij Shilov, 41, of the 400 block of Winnetka Avenue, Winnetka, was arrested around 6:45 p.m. on April 21 and charged with domestic battery.
Juana G. Hernandez Lopez, 33, of the 4200 block of North Kimball Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. on April 28 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol with a breath alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater following a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Willow Road. She was also issued citations for improper lane usage and illegal transportation of cannabis.

IDENTITY THEFT
A resident in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported on the morning of April 18 that someone had been trying to sell some of their personal property.
SHOPLIFTING
Staff of the Mariano's, 1822 Willow Road, reported around 7:15 p.m. on April 19 that someone had just stolen several bottles of liquor and left before police arrived.
VANDALISM
A resident in the 500 block of Woodland Lane South reported finding a speed limit sign in their front lawn. Once officers found the spot from which it had been uprooted in the 1900 block of Old Willow Road, they found further vandalism, including an uncovered drainage age in the 500 block of North Happ Road.
PURSE THEFT
An employee in the 1700 block of Maple Street reported on the night of April 22 that someone had stolen their purse from inside the office building between 6 and 8 p.m. that evening.
BATTERY AT YOUTH SPORTS GAME
Police were called to Willow Park, 401 Wagner Road, around 9:30 p.m. on April 27 for a report of a battery among members of the crowd at a youth baseball game. Officers spoke with two people who had been battered, as well as other witnesses, and were told that a woman had pushed the pair after an argument. There were no injuries and no one wanted to press charges over the incident.
