• 4 Hurt, Including Firefighter, In Apartment Building Blaze In Woodridge (patch.com) — Residents in Woodridge are recovering after a serious apartment fire near 75th Street and Woodward Avenue sent three civilians and a firefighter to the hospital, all in stable condition. The blaze, which started late Thursday morning and disrupted traffic between 71st and 75th streets, prompted village officials to thank residents for their concern and promise future guidance on how the community can help.
