A Little about Us...

The Woodridge Special Events Committee (WSEC) is a non-profit, volunteer group; no one is paid, all time is donated. While we work closely with both the Village of Woodridge Administration and the Woodridge Park District, we are a separate entity. Our purpose is to provide "Special Events" for the citizens of Woodridge, something the group has been doing for the last 50 years. (Several of our current members are charter members of the organization!)

Events we have sponsored and provided support to include the Village Fourth of July Picnic, the Annual Santa Comes to Woodridge, supporting the Magic Lights Tree Trimming at Brookfield Zoo and ticket selling at the Village Jubilee.

Our committee meetings are held once a month September through June (no summer meetings) from 7:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at the Village Hall on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
