Business Spotlight: Maurices
A fashion-forward specialty store for girls' clothing, Maurices offers styles for every occasion.

A for a new Maurices store Thursday morning in the Woodgrove Festival Mall and Shopping Center officially welcomed the chain to its new location.
Holding a giant pair of scissors, store manager Brittany, who could not give her last name because of store policy, stood with her staff members and posed for photographs before cutting the ribbon. Afterwards, Brittany and first assistant Jessica discussed the store and what it promises Woodridge residents.
The grand opening for Maurices will take place this Saturday, July 2.

Patch: Why did Maurices choose Woodridge?
Brittany: Maurices has a lot of stores around Chicagoland and this is one of them. We're just excited to be in the community. We chose the community because we have a style for everybody.
Patch: What deals can people expect at your grand opening?
Brittany: You can buy one get one half off in the entire store until July 17.
Patch: What can Maurices offer Woodridge residents?
Brittany: Maurices is all about "customer obsession," and we're here to make sure our customers get satisfaction. We'll give fashion advice because we're fashion-knowledgeable and we want to keep up with trends.
Patch: What would you call Maurices style?
Jessica: We have a really big variety. There's the casual, the work wear and Studio Y, which has going out clothes for younger customers. We also provide sizes 14-24 which are extended sizes and I think that's exciting.
Patch: What are you looking forward to doing with the store?
Brittany: Just growing, just getting out there, getting involved with the community. It's a really fun place for everyone to shop.
