Business Spotlight: Salon Aria
Learn about this trendy salon being voted the best in the western suburbs, what a free profile entails and how it all got started in Woodridge.

Last week, Woodridge Patch caught up Anthony Vittorini, co-owner of Seven Bridges' award-winning . He gave us a glimpse as to what goes into this self-described upscale and urban, yet comfortable salon.
Patch: How did the salon get started?
Vittorini: The salon came together with little effort, which made us feel that Salon Aria was meant to be. I left a salon in the area after working there for 12 years. Giovanni and I worked together for the last five years, and when I left, I said to him, "Let's stay in touch, because maybe one day we would have an opportunity to open our own salon." Shortly after I left, I came across the Seven Bridges Community, and we liked what they were doing, so we decided that this would be a great location to open our first salon. Four and a half years later we have built an amazing group of talented hairstylists that we are very excited about.

Patch: What is a complimentary personal profile?
Vittorini: A complimentary profile is a service we offer for free. We spend 15 minutes consulting with our guests, discussing everything from cut to color to what products they use. We talk about their daily hairstyling routines, so that we can make a professional opinion about the direction we should go with their new look.

Vittorini: We really enjoy when we have a wedding party coming in because formal hair has definitely become something that Salon Aria specializes in. We work with a bride many months in advance planning her special day at our salon so that it is perfect. The day of the wedding is exciting for our team because they have chosen us to make them feel beautiful on the big day. From mimosas to rose petals, we make the bride feel special the moment she comes into the salon that morning.
Patch: What do you want every client to leave your salon feeling?
Vittorini: When a guest leaves our salon, we want them not only love the service and experience that they have received, but we want them to feel like they can use our salon as their sanctuary. We have a lot of working professionals and working moms, so we know the importance of having a place that they can come to unwind.
