Downers Grove Man Arrested for Robbing Domino's Pizza
James Himpler allegedly robbed a Domino's store Sunday morning, police say.

Judge Robert Miller set bond at $400,000, with 10 percent to apply, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors say Himpler stole about $127 from the pizza parlor clerk around 12:30 a.m. March 29, and he later demanded money from a clerk at Shell Food Mart around 4:15 a.m. near York and Ogden in Hinsdale, but he left that store without any money.

Witnesses contacted law enforcement, and Burr Ridge police apprehended Himpler after a car chase, the state’s attorney’s office reported.
No one was injured during either robbery.

Himpler has been charged with aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer, the state’s attorney’s office reported. His next court appearance is scheduled for April 27 in front of Judge George Bakalis.

A Downers Grove man was arrested Sunday after he robbed a Domino’s Pizza in unincorporated Downers Grove, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
James W. Himpler, age 48 of the 4800 block of Oakwood Avenue, was charged with aggravated robbery, which is a Class 1 felony.
Himpler allegedly robbed the Domino’s store clerk around 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of Belmont Road, the sheriff’s office reported.
Sheriff’s detectives investigated the robbery and arrested Himpler late Sunday afternoon.
Himpler was held in DuPage County Jail and had a bond court hearing at 8 a.m. Monday.
