Gordon Food Service, the largest family-owned broadline foodservice distributor in North America, opened a Woodridge marketplace location Nov. 17.
The store, located at 2025 87th St. in Woodridge, is open rom 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
There will be grand opening events throughout the week of Dec. 2, including free samplings of various meals. People can also enter to win a $300 shopping spree at the store. A "giant taste fest" will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6-7.
