Hartz Construction Hiring Construction Estimator

WOODRIDGE, IL - Hartz Construction Co., based in Woodridge, has submitted the following job opening:

Construction Estimator needed for residential homebuilder located in the western suburbs.

Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Assist in development and costing of price quotes
• Estimate all new and existing projects
• Distribute blueprints to subcontractors for bids
• Maintain Cost Books

Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work under pressure with emphasis on follow-up.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is an entry level position. College degree preferred, but not necessary. Experience in residential construction is preferable.
