Police say she strangled her mother to death and then stole her phone and jewelry.

LOMBARD, IL — A Lombard woman is being held on $3 million bond after she allegedly strangled her mother to death Tuesday. Stephanie DeFalco, 28, is accused of killing her mother, Judith DeFalco, 61, by strangulation and then stealing her car to flee the scene.
According to police, Judith DeFalco was lying unresponsive in her bedroom when they arrived at the scene in the 100 block of Grace Street just before 6:30 p.m. Police say they conducted an investigation that led them to her daughter, Stephanie DeFalco, who was arrested the following day.
The daughter allegedly strangled DeFalco following an argument, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.
