Village Announces First Topic Forum

The first of a series of forums hosted by the will be held on July 19 from 7 to 8 p.m. at  

The village asked residents in June to rank their top three topics from business retention/marketing, community appearance, community connectedness, drug/gang suppression, financial stewardship, government transparency and accountability, infrastructure maintenance, property maintenance, safe neighborhoods and traffic safety.   

The perspectives from these forums will "give the Village Board and staff guidance in carrying out the Village's mission," according to a village press release. 

Residents are welcome to attend the forum in person or share their feedback on the village's Facebook page. 

Instructions on how to participate in the forum will be provided in the days before the event.
