Woodridge To Commemorate September 11 With Ceremony

The ceremony will be held in Kagann Plaza.

WOODRIDGE, IL - Woodridge will honor the memory of those lost on September 11, 2001 with a special ceremony. In a newsletter, the village called the event, to be held in Kagann Plaza, a "ceremony of remembrance."

Mayor Gina Cunningham will be at the event, as will members of Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department, the Woodridge and Lisle Police Departments, and VFW #1578.

The remembrance ceremony will start at 8:30 a.m. The site of the ceremony, Kagann Plaza, is located outside of Woodridge Village Hall.
